KKCoin
KKcoin is the native token of Konnect protocol that will work together with Konnect ID to build the world-class social network and create a potential path to Web3-funded UBI. Designed as a utility digital currency, it empowers users by giving them a say over the future of the protocol, serving as a key component of the whole Konnect ecosystem to show infrastructure development
Some of the goals regarding KKcoin are as follows:
The majority of KKcoin will be given to individuals — simply for being a unique human
The KKcoin, alongside Konnect ID, will be used for both utility and governance of Konnect ecosystem
At the early stage, the KKcoin will function as a part of the incentive for Konnect in its efforts to build a genuine and authentic Web3 community with Proof of Personhood

How Does KKcoin Contribute?
The KKcoin token contributes to Konnect protocol and Web3 realm through interactions with Konnect ID. Konnect ID allows users to verify their humanness and uniqueness online while maintaining their privacy through zero-knowledge proofs. This will enable fair airdrops or token/NFT sales, provide protection against bots/sybil attacks on social media, and folster more equitable distribution of limited resources.
Principle of Allocating KKcoins
The allocation of KKcoin is based on the following 3 principles:
Unique humanness: Only unique humans that have been verified with Proof of Personhood are eligible to claim KKcoins, which excludes bots or sibil attacks
Fairness: Every individual is eligible for a share of free KKcoin token, simply for being a unique human
Incentives:Additional KKcoin is granted in a recurring fashion while the grant amount will decrease over time, which gives additional incentives to induviduals for their governance and engagement
Ways of Claiming KKcoin Tokens
As per different stages of Konnect development, an individual will be eligible for a share of KKcoin by using the following methods:

How to Claim Free KKcoin Tokens at Present?
To achieve the goal of creating a network of as many humans as possible, the majority of KKcoin tokens will be given to individuals over time in the form of user grants (aka “KKcoin Grants”)—simply for being a unique human.
At the early stage, there are 2 approaches for users to claim their free KKcoin grants: verifying their uniqueness and humanness via PoP(Proof of Personhood）verification or inviting friends to get verified:
🔹 Through Completing POP Verification
Step 1: What you need to do is to download the Konnect App (Currently a beta version but will come soon), the only site of free KKcoin grants.
Step 2: Fill in the referral code of your inviter and create a Konnect account
Step 3: Head to the KKcoin page and complete all the facial verification procedures to get your proof of personhood
Then you’ll be eligible for rewards by the 2 following forms of grants:
Welcome Grant: Imediately after entering the referral code and verifying with the privcy-preserving facial authentification, you can claim your Welcome Grant to celebrate that you have joined the Konnect network. At launch, the Welcome Grant amount will be 10 KKcoins. The amount is expected to decrease over time.
Recurring Grants: KID-verified individuals are allowed to claim their KKcoin grants in a recurring fashion. Each of them is only available for a certain time period(24 hours at present). After one grant period ends, a new one begins. Please note that the recurring grant is only available after your activation.
🔹 Through Inviting Friends
If you hope to receive more KKcoin rewards, you are welcome to invite your friends to sign up on Konnect and get their own Proof of Personhood. By invitation and your friend’s successful PoP verification, you are able to claim 25% of the KKcoin rewards from the person you directly invite and 10% of rewards from your friend’s invitees. While at the same time, your friends will immediately receive 10 KKcoins as the welcome grant we talked above. This mechanism gives a double-win bonus for both you and your friends.
